Construction type
Tilt panel, block work and suspended concrete slabs each behave differently — we identify what you've got and how it's performing.
Service 01
A hands-on condition assessment of your structure — what it's made of, how it's exposed, and exactly where it's deteriorating — measured against the Australian Standard, not guesswork.
On the day
Every building is different, but a thorough inspection covers the same fundamentals.
Tilt panel, block work and suspended concrete slabs each behave differently — we identify what you've got and how it's performing.
Coastal buildings carry a higher exposure class under AS3600 — proximity to surf and salt air drives how aggressive the environment is.
We check the concrete grade and the cover to reinforcement against what the code requires for your exposure class.
Blown-out concrete, exposed and corroding reinforcement, and the areas where damage is spreading below the surface.
Shrinkage and racking cracks — what's cosmetic and what points to something structural underneath.
Rooftop ponding, failed waterproofing and water paths — often the engine driving the deterioration you can see.
For a typical coastal slab classed B1, the code calls for around 32 MPa concrete with 40 mm cover to the reinforcement. We measure what's there against what's required — and tell you where the gap is.
The visit
We start with what's worrying you and what's changed, then walk the areas of concern together.
Close inspection of the concrete, reinforcement and water paths — photographed and noted as we go. Where access is limited, we record it.
Before we leave you get a clear, honest picture: what matters, what doesn't, and what we'd do next.
The on-site inspection carries a fee that depends on where your building is. We'll confirm it on your free call, before anyone drives out — no surprises.
After the inspection
Every inspection ends in a report — your choice of a brief verbal report on the day, or the full written report with prioritised recommendations and a contact library.
